I started my journey in photography over twelve years ago second shooting for my sister in Honduras. Throughout this journey, I have found a common ground: I deeply care about the arts, human connection and community. As I see families and babies grow, including my very own, we often wish we could freeze those little faces or those memories together for a bit. I am here to make that through photos. I am honored to be a part of your journey and value each milestone I get to photograph and each connection I get to make.

I am a creative and constant learner. I am a book and journal addict, felt guilty about it until I understood these can be reserved pleasures, not to rush through but to be enjoyed in the right moment. I practice art journaling and photography as a way of showing the world as I know it. I am a mother to two wonderful human beings who were babies when I started and are now taking me into teenage years all over again. I have been the stay at home and homeschooling mamma and I have been the working and traveler mamma.

Inspiration

Life itself, as it happens has enough motives to become inspired and make art. We are free to give meaning to our surroundings and interactions.

I enjoy visiting Portrait and Art galleries wherever I go, as I get to meet artists and be inspired by their work. Arnold Newman is one of my favorite photographers, not only for his mastery of composition and lighting but also for his deep understanding of human character and emotion.

Approach

I enjoy capturing the movement between the pose and the natural flow of human relationships and personalities. I work on site with natural light, whether in home or at an agreed location. The best results come out when subjects are feeling comfortable and at ease with themselves and their surroundings.

The images we make together are pieces of art you get to keep.
